我有永久绿卡，现在中国。2010年3月份离开美国之前获得了Re-Entry Permit，准备2011年2月份回美国探亲，就是说在美国之外呆了11个月。我想咨询一下，我这种情况需要重新计算在美时间吗？因为我在USCIS的网站有以下的信息,有点迷惑：“Absence from the United States of more than six months but less than one year during the period for which continuous residence is required for admission to citizenship, immediately preceding the date of filing the application for naturalization, or during the period between the date of filing the application and the date of any hearing under section 336(a) , shall break the continuity of such residence, unless the applicant shall establish to the satisfaction of the Attorney General that he did not in fact abandon his residence in the United States during such period. ”。上面这段话说到重新计算，好象是有前提的：“immediately preceding the date of filing the application for naturalization, or during the period between the date of filing the application and the date of any hearing under section 336(a) , shall break the continuity of such residence”。就是说“正好在递交入籍申请之前，或者是在申请入籍之后到开听证会的当中”。如果在美国之外超过6个月，但没有在递交入籍申请之前，是否就不要重新计算？谢谢！
