请教与美国公民结婚拿到临时绿卡，如果在两年内与对方离婚，请问身份还能保留吗？如果在离婚后又与另一位美国公民或永久居留者结婚，身份如何调整呢？

This is I-751 application.Very special rules for this kind of application:First, this application will depends on the period of your marriage. I-751 needs both wife and husband sign the application form. However, if your marriage history is over two years and now you are divorced, then you could sign the I-751 form by yourself--which means that you are qualified to apply for this removal of condituion due to that you have had more than two years marriage, but on the other hand, 100% you need to be interviewed to tell US CIS officer that your two years marriage is real, even though now you divorced.Second, if your marriage is less than two years, you are not qualified to submit the I-751 application by youself--so, again, this application depends on how long you married with the US citizen.Third, if you divorced and without two years' marriage, you will not have the valid status. And at this time you may marry with another US citizen, your US citizen husband/wife still have the right to apply for the I-130 for you, but the I-130/485 interview will become more difficult than the first time--they will ask you whether your first marriage is fraud or not.
