This role is responsible for the architecture, development, optimization, and maintenance of our MS SQL 2005/Proclarity datawarehouse to satisfy business requirements. This role will be required to assist in the development of requirements, and to assist our business analysts in the delivery of quality, user-ready, analytics/reporting. The incumbent will be expected to exercise standard engagement practices, project management, and communication principles, with internal and external parties to ensure solutions of quality and value. Other responsibilities include: Lead technical integration of data sources/interfacesDevelop MS SQL 2005 Analysis services cubesDevelop and maintain ETL best practicesBuild Proclarity interfaces and briefing booksDevelop and maintain data architecture, code structure/standards, and metadataAssist in the management of 3rd party database vendors, consultants, and contractorsRequired Skills and Qualifications: Post Secondary Education in related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge: of Proclarity, Microsoft SQL 2005 T-SQL, MDX, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Integration Services, Data modelling (including CASE)Mid-market ERP experience (technical), preferably in Great Plains Ability to facilitate cross-functional project teamsDemonstrated innovation and problem solving skillsAbility to work in a highly entrepreneurial environmentCulture: Located in Oakville, we offer a dynamic, progressive, team based environment.
