If online teen patti and poker are luring Indians, good old rummy isn't far behind. Ace2Three, a web rummy portal, world777 has over 7 million users, sees 5,000 app downloads per day, and 20,000 playing the sport a day, claims Deepak Gullapalli, founding father of the gaming portal. “The size of the web rummy market is estimated at Rs 1,000 crore and is growing at 50% per annum ,” says Gullapalli, adding that rummy is an old favourite in India.
