If you care for the gory details, poke around: http://www.csic-scci.ca/ -- the one line summary is that a canadian immigration lawyer who can represent you in a court now (since 2006) needs to be a member in “good standing” within the CSIC, a private organization, and the way the membership process works, it’s extremely hard for people resident outside Canada to get membership. So you need to wait a few years until the “good” lawyers choose to move out of Canada … the “old-style” (pre-2006) self-described “consultants” __and__ lawyers who are NOT members of CSIC cannot represent you in a court, so getting them to represent your case is useless.[/FONT]
