Police blocked off traffic on Cambie Street after a man was found shot dead in the middle of the street on Tuesday night. (CBC) Vancouver police say a man was shot dead in the Cambie Village area of Vancouver on Tuesday night in the city's 18th homicide of the year.Residents reported hearing gunshots at approximately 10:16 p.m. PT. When police arrived, they found a man dead in the middle of Cambie Street, just south of West 19th Avenue."Early indications are that this was targeted and there may be gang links," said Const. Lindsay Houghton.The victim appeared to be in his 30s, said Houghton, but police did not release his identity, and had no suspects in custody and no suspect descriptions.Cambie Street was closed to traffic. Police were expecting to spend Wednesday searching the neighbourhood and canvassing the neighbourhood, said Houghton. 评论
