各位同学：本人在更新时的疑问。我根据CIC要求找了职业翻译把我的中国出入境章都翻译了。但关于CIC要求附带公证的复印件要求不是很理解：是找了职业翻译后就不要公证呢还是要单独对有中国出入境章的护照页再CERTIFY?谢谢答复！

一个有资质的翻译我说的是他既具有翻译的资质又有Commissioner of oaths的资质的。找他一个人就行了。大温地区的很多翻译都同时有Commissioner of oaths的certificate的。再说做Commissioner of oaths的门槛又不高，翻译一个人能够提供顾客所需要的服务，自己多一个挣钱的机会，客人还少跑路，双方都好。PS:我不是做翻译的，免得误会我在这里拉生意。我自己就是找的一个翻译帮我搞定的，亲身经历。不要公证。找了有资质的翻译要他同时做certify就可以了。Certify 只是证明意思。点击展开...

说有资质的翻译，通常是指翻译协会认证会员（是指certified member，不是associated member），那是没有certified true copy文件资格的。翻译协会的certified member不需要宣誓，而其他人翻译（包括翻译协会associated member）都需要宣誓的。。。。。。

我更新枫叶卡也是找一个做accountant的朋友帮忙签个字，其实都是我自己翻译的，我想她也不是什么这member、那member的，就是一般的accountant而已，顺利通过，已经收到新卡。

大家注意：CIC 关于有资格进行翻译认证和certified copy的人士有了新的规定，没有以前一长串的不同职业的人了，下面是官网的内容（BC省大温地区的同学，如需要找 a commissioner of taking affidavits for British Columbia，可以联系我,certified copy 免费）：“Translations may be done by a person who is fluent in both languages (English or French and the unofficial language). If the translation is not provided by a member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters in Canada, the translation must be accompanied by an affidavit swearing to the accuracy of the translation and the language proficiency of the translator.The affidavit must be sworn in the presence of:In Canada:a notary publica commissioner of oathsa commissioner of taking affidavits Who can certify copies?Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:In Canada:a notary publica commissioner of oathsa commissioner of taking affidavits”
