被新的cec政策影响的同学有希望了. 希望加入集体诉讼的赶紧进来! 分享（此贴为加拿大华人论坛移民板块转帖） 今天收到了议员的Email。 ​ [email protected]​ 相信这封email对于CEC政策改变受到影响的申请人或者将要申请的人会有帮助。 ​ 集体诉讼移民局不是第一次了，从技术移民，投资移民到现在的CEC. ​ 移民局败诉也有过很多次，个人觉得这次希望很大。 ​ 毕竟这个政策出台应该给与一段时间的缓冲期。 ​ 希望加入的同学可以看看以下的email. ​ 搭上这班车的同学可能是幸运儿。。。​ Dear Colleague,​ If enough of those who came to Canada on the understanding that, after completing a two-year, post-secondary program and working a year in any Skill Level A or B (or managerial) position, they would be entitled to permanent residence if their average IELTS score was 6.0, but now have had the door to Canada barred to them when their job was declared ineligible are willing to join together to sue for damages, we are prepared to assist them. We will file their cases individually once at least 100 have signed on. (In order to reduce the cost per litigant to a minimal amount, we need to have at least that many.)​ Those who had not applied by November 6th in any of the following occupations are no longer eligible for CEC visas:​ [td=406] · cooks (NOC code 6322);​ · food service supervisors (NOC 6311);· administrative officers (NOC 1221);· administrative assistants (NOC 1241);· accounting technicians and bookkeepers (NOC 1311); and· retail sales supervisors (NOC 6211).http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2013/2013-11-08.asp​ The cost will be $450 each for those who express interest in doing so by December 27th. If the interest is significantly higher, the fee could drop to $350 each. Once l we have an idea of the how many are willing to join, a final fee will be established.​ Those eligible will either have1. academic-baseda. completed a two-year (or longer) programb. worked at least ninety (90) days in one of the excluded occupation andc. meet the English requirement;​ 2. LMO-baseda. have worked at least ninety days in Canada,b. gave up a job abroad andc. meet the English requirement.​ In order to participate, we need to know the following:1. name,2. occupation-at-issue,3. program completed; i.e.,a. length andb. name of school​ We will be seeking damages arising out of CIC’s having enticed its victims to Canada and, after they paid tens of thousands of dollars and invested many months of their lives, are being barred permanent residence under the CEC criteria. Obtaining damages will not necessarily result in the Minister restoring the occupations. However, if enough join and the damage amount is high enough, he might offer to settle by processing the litigants’ applications for permanent residence.​ Once expressions-of-interest have reached at least 100, we will set the fee, prepare a contract and request the initial payment.​ Regards,​ Tim Leahy​
