Inter-Family Transfer:
You can sell or transfer your vehicle to a member of your family with somewhat less formality than transferring the vehicle to non-family members. The vehicle can only be transferred in this way once per 12 months. The government defines family members as the following individuals: (1) spouse, (2) parent or step-parent, (3) grandparent or step-grandparent, (4) child or step-child, (5) grandchild or step-grandchild, (6) son or daughter in law, (7) mother or father in law, (8) sibling or step-sibling, (9) half sibling (one common parent), or (10) adopted sibling.
In order to transfer the ownership of your vehicle to one of the family members listed above, both parties need to visit a Service Ontario location. You can find the nearest Service Ontario location by clicking here. In addition, you must bring the following pieces of information:
Proof of Ontario car insurance.
Ontario Driver's Licence.
Safety Standards Certificate (not needed for spouse to spouse transfers as long as you sign a Spousal Declaration (needs to be notarized) which can be found here).
Drive Clean test results (only if you are using the retail tax exemption and your vehicle is due for a Drive Clean test. Spouses are exempt if they file a spousal declaration (needs to be notarized), which can be found here).
Vehicle Ownership Permit (with the back section filled out).
A sworn statement for a Family Gift of a used Motor Vehicle in the Province of Ontario Form (needs to be notarized).
Plate Transfer Declaration (only if the licence plates are staying with the car being transferred).

楼上写一堆都是废话，你只要有他的ownership，想办法在上面签上他的签名，不就可以过户了吗？

我卖好多辆车了，ownership一签，车牌一拆，就没我任何事情了。你就想办法把ownership签个字就好了，根本不需要车主做什么

需要车主在
Vehicle Ownership Permit (with the back section filled out)，和
A sworn statement for a Family Gift of a used Motor Vehicle in the Province of Ontario Form (needs to be notarized)上面签字。
在Vehicle Ownership Permit上面车主自己签字即可。但在A sworn statement上面签字需要有公正人员在场。这个公正可以在service Ontario里面做，20加币。如果家人不能来加拿大则可以通过网上视频做，多伦多有好几家公正处律师事务所提供这个方法，费用40加币左右。最大问题是国内网络速度可能会很慢造成困难。也可以分开做，你在service Ontario 宣示签名。你家人在国内找一家加拿大律师开的事务所做。两张分开的声明。不过，中国国内加拿大律师开的事务所费用比较高，大概要1000到1500人民币。具体你可以到service Ontario去问问。
家人之间转让可以省去销售税。

啥车啊，有些车压根就不需要交税，买个uvip先看看呗。如果uvip上面价格低，那你直接交了也就是了，自己在ownership上签个车主的名字不就好了
