Step 1Open a terminal window by clicking "Start," "All Programs," "Applications," "System Tools" and "Command Prompt."Step 2Switch to the root user by typing the command "su" at the "Command Prompt."Step 3Install the telnet-server application with the command: "yum install telnet-server."Step 4Set the telnet server to start when the system boots with the command "chkconfig telnet on."Step 5Restart the Internet services daemon with the command "/etc/init.d/xinetd restart."Step 6Exit the root session with the command "Exit."
