No instrument-practicing and Need a push to study 微信号 americanstudentdiary功能介绍 美国高中优秀学生代表用双语日记和你一起提高英语了解留学和适应美国文化！我把苹果切成天鹅形状，又拍了照片，很有成就感。看来只要用心，很多事情做起来也不难嘛。Jack 的老师Ashely 离开后，我重新看了《复仇者联盟》。去年看时很难，现在看没什么难度了。01222017 Sunday No instrument-practicing and Need a push to study It was raining cats and dogs this morning, I woke up earlier than the alarm clock, so I got up and did the homework. AFter the alarm time, I tried to go to the living room, however, it’s locked, so I had to study in my room, the same place I had stayed for hours. At last, when it’s about 8:00, my parents got up and unlocked the door. I kinda managed my time really well this time, nevertheless, I still wasted one hour in bed, when I was having insomnia, or trouble sleeping. I shouldn't be lying in bed at all because I wasn’t tired, not even a bit drowsy! After breakfast, I watched over Jack in my parents’ absence. I fed Jack some hawthorn stripes, and he loved it that he kept eating them until I stopped him. This am, all I did was homework, and a little game-playing. You know, I still played the dodgeball game, this time, I named myself “Trump” in Chinese words, and no one seemed to understand what it meant. Because of this, things didn’t go well on me. Guess I should just use the English version of Trump’s name, huh? At 1pm, Jack’s teacher, Ashley, came here to watch over him. My parents just came home at that time, and we broke bread together, in order words, ate together. She was good at using the chopsticks, and she offered to bring us a recipe of a delicious meal next time she came. It’d be wonderful because the meal sounded really delicious. After eating, she hummed a little tune to Jack, I recognized that one, it was the music from the movie “Shrek”! I had to admit that movie was brilliant, but I didn’t know the song could be this catchy that she indicated that she had a hard time snapping out of it. I cut the apple into a swan right after getting inspired by a video on Youtube, which showed me how it’s done. It really took me quite a while to finish it. After I finished, I felt really triumphant, and I took a couple of pictures. However, the positions and angles of those pictures weren’t that accurate that they didn’t seem nice at all. I should’ve amplified the picture before photographing. Anyway, I did a marvelous job with the apple-cutting. That’s thing I should be focusing on. As long as you had you will to do something, you’d do it immediately, in spite of the difficulties along the way. At 3:00, she had to go, and I signed up for her. After that, I watched the movie “The Avengers”, I remembered I had watched last year, it was really difficult that time. But this time, it wasn’t so hard at all, as long as the caption was on. Well, I would never improve quickly with the caption on, however, I just couldn’t get rid of it. Mom watched it with me too, but the movie made her feel tired in the middle because there were a lot of intensive scenes. So, we stopped and did something else instead, like napping or something. The rain wouldn't stop at all that I couldn’t even get my saxophone to play, you know, I’d have to carry it from my room to the living room, while in the middle, was a path where was exposed into the rain. I couldn’t afford to get my instrument soaked. If I saw this coming, I would’ve practiced it yesterday. I studied a little SAT, about the reading portion. Then, I read an article online, it was about the nature and humanity. The article was so long that I could barely finish one chapter. I really needed to improve, but I just didn’t have a push. Perhaps, I should have someone or something to provoke me into working hard, otherwise I just wouldn’t learn. Likewise, I’d have to cook for the whole family, starting the next Monday. Mom said it’s really time to push me into cooking, otherwise I’d frown every time I cooked. The best way to get used to something was keep doing it.转自微信公众号：美国留学生日记（americanstudentdiary）
