请问拿到公民后，什么时候可以开始帮父母申请绿卡？申请过程中，他们是否一定要在美国？这过程大概多久？如果我成为公民后准备回国发展一段时间，那我和我父母都在国内，我也可以帮他们申请绿卡，他们在国内等绿卡吗？这样时间又要多久？谢谢

Two Ways to apply for the immigration for the Parents:1) invite them to visit the USA, and when they are inside the USA, apply for the immigration for them. By this way, the parents will get green card very soon and sometimes no interview needed, usually take 4 months.2) If Parents are outside the USA, then you only can apply for the I-130 for them--4-6 months get approval, then the cases will be transferred to National Visa Center and you will be asked to finish the 3 Packages, this processing usually take 2-4 months. Then the cases will be trnasferred to Guangzhou. In Guangzhou, your parents need to wait 6 to 8 months to get interview. Therefore, this kind of case uauslly take 1 and a half year. Then your parents enter the USA to receive the Green Card.3) If you want to do the second way, you could stay outside the USA, no problems.
