半年多前提交的申请，到现在也没有预约面谈，明显超过本地处理时间。去local office做infopass，那个官员也认为不正常，建议我给USCIS打电话做service request。回来打电话，对方又说根据网上公布的processing time（这个数据非常滞后），我还得至少再等一个月才有资格做。请问这个service request意义大吗？别又等了一个月，做了也没用（提交后还得等2-4周才有答复）我现在这种情况，还能做什么啊？谢谢！

Fourth of July?去年新年夜你们做了什么？国庆节呢？10.The Kids小孩Who picks up the children at school?谁接孩子放学？Who packs lunches for the kids?谁为孩子准备午饭？What are their favorite toys/activities?他们最喜欢的玩具/游戏是什么？What are their least favorite foods?他们最不喜欢的食物是什么？Which children (if any) still use a car seat?哪个孩子还在使用幼儿专用汽车椅？What is your usual babysitter’s name?你们的保姆的名字是什么？ 当你的申请看到下面的 online status 时，就意味着你要准备面试了。The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office.面试并不象想像的那么恐怖，尤其是你准备得当的话。所谓准备，最重要的是准备好所要求的文件。这个文件的清单，就在你收到的面试通知 (Request for Applicant to Appear for Interview) 上。文件清单的两个必备是：1) 面试通知书；2) 带照片证件。其它的也列在了 Document List 下，只有那些打了勾的。如果没有打勾的文件，那肯定是你的照片太靓（帅）了，签证官醉翁之意不在任何文件，只是想一睹芳泽而已。如果你想准备充分的话，所有申请相关的支持文件统统带上，以备无患。所有准备的文件，都是原件。非英文的文件，一定附带英文的译件，最好还去公证一下。同时，所有的文件均有一份备份，备索。面试通知上的文件清单，要反复查对，万无一漏。若不能备齐，先想好怎么解释，或准备替代文件。自己不要去判断清单上的文件是否必需。面试的地点和时间，都列在了通知上。在面试的那天，要准时露面。象道路不熟丶交通堵塞丶找不到停车位的情况，要预先考虑进去。至于着装的 code, 不是一定要西装革履，business casual 就行。女士略施粉黛，以示尊重。是否需要律师同行，全在你自己的感觉。如果指望律师的陪同，你就能扭转乾坤，你还是早点清醒过来为佳。回答问题，简单扼要，切忌 mispresentation.有了上面的预防针，你就可以有备无患地去面试了美国婚姻绿卡面试问题集锦(英文版）http://wenku.baidu.com/view/b3f19c8d83d049649b6658ed.html
