Ms. Xiang Qin, a famous Chinese Erhu player, grown up in a traditional music family, begun her learning since the age of 5, and was teached by famous Erhu educator Xiang Zuyu and Li Yufang. She served as a soloist in the tenth "Shanghai Spring", won the gold medal in the first "cuckoo" competition, and also won the Silver Award in National Children's Folk Music Competition. At the age of fifteen, she was admitted to the military art troupe as a solo erhu performer.   After moving to the United States, she participated in many large-scale performances and CD recordings. She has performed in Kodak Theatre, Hollywood Bowl Theatre, San Gabriel Theatre, Studios, Disney, Las Vegas and many more. And performed many times with the Cincinnati, Balluff, San Diego and other symphony orchestras together. She was invited by the famous singer Jay Chou to participate in his "World Tour" as a solo erhu player, cooperated in the song "a thousand miles away". She even successfully held an erhu solo concert at the invitation of the Dallas City Government. She played "Five Rhymes" with five different Huqin in the Downey Civic Theater in Los Angeles.
