Property Transfer tax & First time home buyers exemption The property transfer tax is a tax paid to the BC government by the Buyer of real estate in BC. The tax is calculated as 1% of the first $200,000 of the purchase price PLUS 2% of any remainder over $200,000. It has to be paid on the date the purchase is completed at the land title office. First time home buyers exemption: to qualify for the first time home buyers exemption a buyer must:Have never owner a principal residence anywhere.Maximum purchase price of the principal residence located in the lower mainland $325,000. However a proportionate amount of the exemption is allowed on properties in these areas up to $350,000.Must be placing a mortgage of 70% or more of the value on the property and cannot be provided by family as a private mortgage.Each buyer must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada and must have resided in the province of BC for at least 12 months immediately prior to the completion date.The mortgage must have a term of at least 1 year.The buyer must occupy the property as a principal residence within 92 days of the completion date of the purchase.The property must be classified as residential by the BC Assessment Authority and the size of the lot can not exceed 1.24 acres.During the first year of ownership the Buyer can not reduce the mortgage balance by and more than $11,000.Prepared by Vanessa YeCELL: 778 882 3685Email: [email protected] This is a brief summary of the First Time Home Buyers Property Transfer Tax Exemptions, for more information you can contact Administrator Property Transfer Tax. 没想到这么牛的条款也有漏洞,Have never owner a principal residence anywhere, 是BC的anywhere, CANADA的anywhere,还是地球的anywhere?不知道其他省有没有相同规定。

鱼居住时间不够 可能免不了税了我们看过了会议纪录 房子面临一次较大修葺 但是屋主也因为这又让了1500刀 我们就接收了买的公寓小 摊下来的维修费也不多 我们算过就算是30万的大修 我们也只需要出一千来块
