Recently bought a new house then one day heard there are sound like water drops from high above before hitting a wooden plate or floor or whatever. It is confirmed that only when water run in 2nd floor bathroom that this sound will be heard, but sometimes there are no such drop sound at all even if the water run for a long time. Looked around everywhere, there is no water stains. Wonder if there is a leakage, why the sound is not always heard ? Called the house inspector, what he said was that the sound is a WELL-KNOWN issue. It is because there is no insulation between the water hose and surrounding stuff, therefore there will be tuc tuc sound. Does anyone here have similar experiences ?
