CIC信上说，MUST provide:complete the absence history form. and if you have visited the United States, please declare this and provide a copy of documents provided to you by the U.S government with respect to your immigration status.这句话到底什么意思呀？需要美国政府提供我的status? 护照上的美签算吗？

回复: 请教各位：renew pr card, 收到questionnaire我去年9月就交申请RENEW了，我是工作原因，护照上章很多，所以他们有RESIDENCY 的CONCERN。大部分不是去美国呀，我只是去美国旅游了几次，每次都是一周左右。不是很明白这句话到底什么意思。

Synonymous terms for immigrant status are: Permanent Resident, immigrant, green card holder, and resident alien. Gaining immigrant status can be a lengthy and complex process that requires close consultation with an immigration attorney.

回复: 请教各位：renew pr card, 收到questionnaire重新搜了一下，耶鲁大学的解释。Your visa indicates that you are eligible to enter the United States in a specific immigration status. A U.S. border official will review your eligibility and authorize your requested immigration status by issuing the Form I-94 (sample card to the left) to show that you have been granted permission to be in the U.S. This small white card is your arrival/departure document and indicates your immigration status and the length of time you may remain inside the United States.

always keep the faith[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]回复: 请教各位：renew pr card, 收到questionnaire我刚换卡，从寄出申请到收卡共2个月零4天。我去过美国两次，都是当天去当天回，在Absence Form 上我都有填写这两次出境，只是在计算Absent 天数时算为零。我想越完整越好，如果他们需要核实也非常容易。估计是他们怀疑楼主去美国工作，但又把这些天数计入在加时间。另外，我在复印护照时把上面的美签也一并复印了的。祝楼主换卡顺利！
