Permanent resident visas pick up during WTO Conference:Those planning to come to Hong Kong to pick up their permanent resident visas in December, should be aware that the The World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference will be held in Hong Kong from 13 to 18 December 2005. Persons could experience difficulties with local transportation and accommodations at that time. While persons must ensure to pick up their visas before the deadline date stated in their invitation letter, it is advisable to avoid picking up the visa during the dates of the WTO conference. Please note that the Visa Section will be closed on:October 11, 2005 - Chung Yeung Festival
