澳洲诚征荒岛管理员一人,年新七万英镑,一个月休息二十九天半。 据台湾《中国时报》报道,澳洲观光局需要一名到汉米敦岛上管理这个小岛跟附近几个岛的人。汉米敦岛位在昆士兰外海,阳光充足,风光明媚。虽然说是荒岛,岛上倒有五千居民。 管理人员除了一年大约七万英镑的薪水,还有去岛上的来回机票,在岛上的交通工具,一栋有三个卧房的小别墅,当然还有享受不尽的碧绿海水和一年到头的阳光。 管理员要会说、写英文,还要会潜水,会游泳,喜欢户外活动,更要会管理一个网站,每个星期更新博客一次,要接受媒体采访,定期跟昆士兰观光局报告。 算一算,做完一个月固定的工作大约只要12小时,也就是说,另外的二十九天半都在度假小岛上逍遥,实在是让人羡慕的工作。

回复: zt澳洲荒岛招聘管理员 年薪7万英镑每月工作半天New Reef tourism campaign offers 'best job in the world'The State Government and Tourism Queensland are searching the globe for candidates for the "Best Job in the World" - a $150,000 six month contract based on a Great Barrier Reef island.Acting Premier Paul Lucas said the campaign was part of the State Government's push to drive international tourism during some of the toughest international tourism climates every experienced."Tourism is a vital part of the Queensland economy," Mr Lucas said."This campaign is about us working hard to protect the $18 billion a year that tourism generates in Queensland and the jobs that go with it."Traditional tourism advertising just doesn't cut it sometimes and we are thinking outside the box by launching this campaign."The successful applicant will live on Hamilton Island for six months and travel to other Islands of the Great Barrier Reef and report back on their adventures to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries, video updates."They'll also have to talk to media from time to time about what they're doing so they can't be too shy and they'll have to love the sea, the sun, the outdoors."The fact that they will be paid to explore the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef, swim, snorkel and generally live the Queensland lifestyle makes this undoubtedly the best job in the world."They'll have a great job and be doing a great job for tourism in Queensland at the same time."Airfares from the successful applicant's home country and live-in accommodation on Queensland's Hamilton Island are included.Applicants can come from anywhere in the world and the job description includes exploring the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef, swimming, snorkelling, making friends with the locals and generally enjoying the tropical Queensland climate and lifestyle. Candidates will still have to undertake a genuine recruitment process.Mr Lucas said the "Best Job in the World" campaign was a $1.7 million global marketing strategy that will increase the profile of Queensland's Great Barrier Reef islands."More people research and book their holidays online than every before with user-generated content on websites such as Trip Advisor, Lonely Planet's Thorn Tree, Facebook, You Tube and any number of travel blogs playing a major role in people's travel plans," Mr Lucas said."We expect this smart marketing investment to generate more than $70 million worth of publicity for Queensland."Queensland Tourism Minister Desley Boyle said the "Best Job in the World" was the type of cutting edge marketing strategy Tourism Queensland was renowned for."We have one of the most amazing destinations in the world and as Queenslanders we are fortunate to have it all on our doorstep," Ms Boyle said."We want to open our doors to the world and invite one lucky person come and live the Queensland lifestyle themselves for six months and then tell the rest of the world about their experiences."Ms Boyle said some people might question whether it was risky to let an unknown individual become an unofficial tourism spokesperson for Queensland. "When the idea was first floated with Tourism Queensland's industry partners they absolutely loved it and we have received fantastic support from local industry in the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef," she said."I think the biggest risk will be that the successful candidate won't want to go home at the end of the six months."Ms Boyle said in addition to a salary package of AUD $150,000 for the six month contract, the successful applicant would receive return airfares from the nearest capital city in their home country, accommodation on Hamilton Island, travel insurance for the contract period, computer, internet, digital video and stills camera access. "They will also have access to and report on visits to all the Great Barrier Reef islands that run from Cairns to Bundaberg."How would it be if you were suffering the current harsh Winter in New York, Paris and London to be able to escape and work somewhere as amazing as the Great Barrier Reef."Applications are open until February 22. Eleven shortlisted candidates will be flown to Hamilton Island in early May for the final selection process and the six month contract will commence on July 1. The campaign will run in the Australian domestic market and 10 key international markets, making it Tourism Queensland's first truly global campaign."The campaign will be supported by extensive PR and digital marketing activities, advertising in major national print and online media outlets throughout the world, tactical cross promotion marketing with local travel and media partners and in store promotion with participating travel partners," Ms Boyle said.She said the campaign was being funded cooperatively by the State Government through Tourism Queensland, major partner Hamilton Island, regional partners and local industry. "This is a legitimate job which is open to anyone and everyone". "Well almost everyone - as much as I would love to, I don't think I'll be allowed to apply."Potential applicants can apply on www.islandreefjob.com and visitors to the site can learn more about Australia's unique Islands of the Great Barrier Reef.About the application processCandidates are required to create a 60 second or less video application in English explaining why they are uniquely qualified for the job. Candidates are also required to complete an application form and upload the video to www.islandreefjob.com. Applications open on 10th January and close 22nd February 2009. Tourism Queensland and their representatives in international markets will select ten candidates and visitors to www.islandreefjob.com will have the chance to select one Wild Card candidate. All candidates will participate in an interview selection process which will be held on a number of the Islands of the Great Barrier, on the 3rd - 6th May, 2009.About the locationStretching more then 2000km and comprised of over 2,900 individual reefs and 600 islands, the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia is the world's largest coral reef system. The World Heritage Listed area supports a diversity of wildlife including whales, dolphins, sea turtles and more than 1,500 species of fish. The reef is an extremely popular destination for tourists, sustainably managing approximately 2 million visitors each year.
