[Can not input Chinese, so input English this time.] The trip is very smooth. With a good prepartion done before, I resign my job on May 18, and took the flight 19. the flight is China Eastern Airline, the journey took 10 hours to arrive in Vancouver from Shanghai pudong airport, 40 minutes earlier than scheduled. the number of baggage I brought is 8. I trip with my mother, so each of us has 4 pieces. two big bag, two small bag. the bags were not opened or checked by the border service officer in Vancouver airport. Cause I am new immigrant, for the landing, I need to report to the Canadian Immigration department. the office is very easy to find, after getting into the door, a lady introduced the process for me. which includes how to apply SIN card, medical insurance, and the places to ask for help. i.e, free English Course as well. Though the queue in the Canadian Immigration department is not long, I waited 2 hours still. It only took 5 minutes to finish the interview with officer, then after, I was notified that my PR card(maple card) will be mailed to my current address in Canada. That's all for the day. much more simpler than what I thought before, so be well prepared and be relaxed, we can make it!
