If you have renewed your passport since your visa was issued you must carry both the passports with you when you travel (the passport with the valid visa and the new passport).2- You may apply for a replacement visa at the Beijing Office. Please be advised that we recommend the second choice. If you choose to do so please submit the following: -The passport containing the valid Canadian Visa as well as your new passport.

Please include a copy of the lost immigration document if possible. - For Damaged Passports: The damaged passport and visa, study/work permit and/or travel document. You may come in person to submit your application on any Thursday between 8am-10:30am. Unless otherwise instructed by our receptionist, your visa will be ready in the same day. Processing times at the Beijing Office may vary due to the level of applications. Our office does not offer an express service. Please make sure to notify our office of the time and date you intend to come in, you may notify us by email. Please make sure to include your name and date of birth when notifying us. If you live outside of Beijing, you may mail your application to our Embassy, we will change your visa within the same day, and the application will then be mailed back to you. Is it OK for me to go to Canada with the passport which will expire within less than six months? I just called Air Canada. I was told that I cannot buy the airticket with the passport which will expire within six month because customs officer will refuse my entrance. And I was advised to get a new passport and take both the old and the new to go to Canada. Does it work? I want to know if the visa is still valid on the old passport (there is some kind of mark on it indicating the existence of the new one)? Thank you for your attention.Best regards,
