找到了EB-5从1992－2004年的数据 (移民局一般只公布2005年以后的数据).从1992－2004年，共签发了6024张临时绿卡，按每个家庭3个人计算，就是2000个526批准。从1992－2004年，829通过为653. 就是10年只批准了653张永久绿卡。由于区域中心跟移民局玩项目游戏， 900多投资人829申请被吊着10年不批。估计这些投资人在等了近20年后，在2010－2011年间终于递交了829申请并批准。这就是为什么2010－2011年移民局收到的829申请比3年前526的批准数据高出很多。 2011年移民局收到2346个829申请， 但3年前2008年移民局只批准了640个526批准。 这些2004年前的积压案件处理完后，目前的区域中心的真实数据才体现出来，2009年1262个526批准中，只有712个829申请，淘汰率超过40％。
