加拿大华人论坛 加拿大生活信息IT的, 3个多月了，还没找到工作呢

本人在国内惠普，爱立信有8年IT支持的经验（基于Wintel），也做过一些管理工作（Project, Asset, Change, Helpdesk, Operation management)，工作上英文沟通没什么问题，现在来温哥华3个多月了，在Landell上了3周的JFC(Job Finding Club)，已经发了近90份简历，一共有过4次面试，可到现在还在家侯着呢。现在半天时间继续找工作，半天时间自学ccna，想过两周去考ccna。 欢迎任何IT工作信息，和IT找工作的经验。我的email是 [email protected] 谢谢！

回复: IT的, 3个多月了，还没找到工作呢楼主太着急了吧？刚刚三个月，先熟悉熟悉情况，放松心态。另外给一个建议，简历里不要写你干过那么多东西，针对不同的工作岗位，侧重于一点。在这里，会的东西多，意味着博而不精。

回复: IT的, 3个多月了，还没找到工作呢最近又有几家面试，跟赶场似的，有三家过了2轮，可到最后还是不行，因为他们最大的顾虑是我的英文，虽然在中国外企上班说英文还可以，但到这里工作，尤其是一线的IT支持，需要经常接电话，用电话解答问题，而专家又需要Coach别人，这样就对英语要求非常的高。可这语言只有找到工作才能更好更快的锻炼呀，自己在家怎么能在短时间快速提高呢？

I guess they have received a lot of applications from non native speakers of English whose English is not fluent enough to have effective communication, so they emphasize that the applicants must have a good command of the English language.

I guess they have received a lot of applications from non native speakers of English whose English is not fluent enough to have effective communication, so they emphasize that the applicants must have a good command of the English language.点击展开...不是这个原因。 很多专业职位都会有这个要求。而所谓的英文好不仅仅是NATIVE的水平。而是能有效的勾通(包括口头和书面）。很多NATIVE SPEAKER一样有勾通问题的。

回复: IT的, 3个多月了，还没找到工作呢在中国，沟通一直是我的长项（用中文啦），但在这里，语言＋文化使我觉得和本地人沟通很困难，倒是和一些老外（比如法国人，印度人等）沟通更容易些。
