帮你查了一下,可以考虑往 RN- registered nurses 方面发展. 英语好是关键Information for foreign-trained registered nurses and psychiatric nurseshttp://www.cicic.ca/en/professions.aspx?sortcode=2.19.21&prof=3152Information on requirements to practiseNurses may be employed in many settings such as hospitals and doctors' offices; in community health agencies, health centres, and clinics; in nursing homes and extended-care facilities; in rehabilitation centres and mental health centres; in schools, governments, businesses, and industries; and in private homes; or they may be self-employed. But all nursing professions are regulated in Canada. In some provinces, anyone using the title "nurse," even a self-employed nurse, must be a registered member of one of the nursing regulatory bodies in that jurisdiction. When you know where you will settle and work in Canada, you should contact the appropriate provincial/territorial regulatory body (see list below) for more specific information. In order to obtain the designation Registered Nurse (RN), candidates must apply for registration, have their credentials assessed, and pass the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination or for Quebec, l'examen professionnel de l'Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec. The provincial/territorial regulatory bodies register the applicants in their jurisdiction who meet their professional criteria and standards of practice. These regulatory bodies, with the exception of the College of Nurses in Ontario and the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec, are member bodies of the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA).The CNA, in collaboration with specialist nursing associations, offers certification in 14 nursing specialties: neuroscience, occupational health, nephrology, emergency, critical care, critical care pediatrics, psychiatric/mental health, perioperative care, oncology, hospice palliative care, gerontology, gastroenterology, perinatal care, and cardiovascular nursing. Each of these nursing specialties has its own national professional association. For more information on membership, specialization, and certification, you can contact the CNA atCanadian Nurses Association (CNA)50 DrivewayOttawa ON K2P 1E2 CanadaPhone : (613) 237-2133Phone (alternate): 1-800-361-8404Fax : (613) 237-3520Email : [email protected]://www.cna-aiic.ca/ Psychiatric/Mental Health NursesThere are separate provincial regulatory bodies (see list below) in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba to register nurses specifically qualified in the area of psychiatric/mental health nursing. In the other provinces/territories, there may be a special interest group for Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurses within existing professional bodies. The Canadian Federation of Mental Health Nurses can also provide more information on the field of mental health nursing in Canada. The federation can be contacted atCanadian Federation of Mental Health Nurses (CFMHN)50 DrivewayOttawa ON K2P 1E2 CanadaPhone : (613) 237-2133Phone (alternate): 1-800-450-5206Fax : (613) 237-3520http://cfmhn.org/ Information on assessment of qualificationsThe regulatory body for nursing in each province and territory handles the assessment of qualifications for foreign-trained nurses and the scheduling of nurses to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination. With special permission, candidates may write the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination in a Canadian province or territory other than the one in which they reside. However, candidates cannot write the exam outside Canada. You may also contact an evaluation service to evaluate your credentials. Consult our Fact Sheet No. 2, "Assessment and recognition of credentials for the purpose of employment in Canada." Although the evaluation services offer expert advice on how qualifications obtained abroad compare with credentials obtained in a Canadian province or territory, the evaluation is advisory only and does not guarantee recognition of your qualifications for employment or registration purposes in Canada. Please note that evaluation services charge a fee for their services. To become registered as a nurse in Canada, you will still need to have your credentials assessed by the provincial/territorial nursing regulatory body.Other relevant informationThe Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) is not responsible for requirements for entry to practice of this occupation (RN or RPN) - it is the regulatory bodies that set the standards for entry to practice and the schools of nursing prepare the learners to graduate nursing with these competencies. CASN accredits university and college nursing programs at the baccalaureate level in Canada. CASN represents degree-level nursing education and nursing research across Canada. CASN member schools and its regional associations work collaboratively with provincial and territorial regulatory colleges/associations of nursing to ensure that standards of education meet entry to practice requirements. For more information on member schools, nursing programs, CASN databases on nursing education and research, CASN standing committees and task forces, standards of excellence for nursing education, you can contact the association through [email protected] a general description of duties and employment requirements, you can refer to the information prepared by Human Resources Development Canada regardingRegistered nurses and psychiatric nurses Head registered nurses and psychiatric nurses and Supervisors Specific Provincial/Territorial InformationAlberta British Columbia Manitoba New Brunswick Northwest Territories Nova Scotia Ontario: Nurses in Ontario e-factsheet for Internationally Trained Nurses Prince Edward Island Quebec [in French only] Saskatchewan You may also be interested in these CICIC information pages:Registered Nursing Assistants Doctors Specialist Physicians and Surgeons

注册护士要通过考试估计你语言不行,另外学历需认证(可在加拿大做),不如先读书,可免修几门课,具体看学校要求,但估计不会免学分,因为护理对语言要求高,你需要比本地学生多上几门语言课.只要语言过关,你做本行可能性很大的.http://www.vaniercollege.qc.ca/academics/nursing.htmlThis three-year DEC program in Nursing qualifies students to write the necessary examinations to become nurses. Students have the option of continuing on with an additional two years of study at a Québec university. We strongly urge students to take advantage of this five year integrated program. Some graduates continue their education to achieve Master and Ph.D. degrees. The Nursing curriculum utilizes a conceptual framework that emphasizes the connections between health, nursing and learning. Students are prepared to assist individuals in the promotion and recovery of health within the contexts of their physiological, psychosocial and physical environment. The courses are structured to expose the student to concepts in nursing, biology, social sciences and humanities, and to encourage integration of the different branches of knowledge.Who Studies Nursing?Students considering a career in nursing should ask themselves the following questions: Do you have strong problem solving skills? Do you have a strong aptitude in biological and social sciences? Do you have a strong sense of responsibility and a caring attitude? Do you work well with clients of all ages? Do you work well as part of a team? Energetic, mature women and men are encouraged to enter the program to work and study with a dynamic faculty to gain general and specialized nursing knowledge and skills to prepare them for a challenging and exciting future. What Do Nurses Do?Nursing is a demanding but particularly rewarding career choice. Nursing graduates are prepared to work as beginning practitioners or to continue studies at a higher level. Nurses must develop skills that enable them to work collaboratively with other members of the health team. Nursing students learn to assess the health needs of people and to formulate and carry out a plan of care that is based on this assessment. The practice of nursing requires skills in observation, communication, decision-making, planning, teaching, collaboration and critical thinking. In addition, the graduates are prepared to cope with the technological advances prevalent in today's health care settings.Extended Nursing Program 180.A1 In order to help meet the needs of a wider variety of students, we have developed the Extended Nursing Program. This program offers the same courses as the regular three-year DEC in Nursing but extends the course work over a four-year period. The course load in each year of the Extended Nursing Program is thus reduced, facilitating the entry into Nursing of students who may experience difficulty carrying the heavier course load of the regular program. This program can also be converted to a Bachelor of Nursing with an additional two years at a Québec university.FacilitiesAn important part of the nursing curriculum consists of supervised clinical practice outside the college participating in fieldwork. Clinical practice takes place within acute care hospitals, long term care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and ambulatory care facilities. Particular attention is paid to preparing the students for the clinical experience. A well-equipped and newly renovated laboratory permits students to learn and practice the nursing skills they will be expected to use during clinical practice. Audiovisual and various digital technologies are used to enhance learning.FacultyAll teachers in the Nursing Program have either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing. Some teachers also have a Ph.D. They offer students a wide variety of nursing and teaching expertise. Emphasis is placed upon individual student-teacher interaction. The maximum student to teacher ratio in the clinical setting is 1:8. Due to our philosophy of promoting the self-awareness and personal growth of the student, students and teachers work together to meet these objectives at all levels of the program.Financial AidFinancial aid is available through the Québec Loans and Bursary Program to help students finance their studies. Many students have taken advantage of this program. Further information can be obtained from the Financial Aid Office (514) 744-7500 x 7883.General Requirements for Admission to CegepThe Québec Secondary School Diploma (Diplôme d'études secondaires) or equivalent schooling is required.
