Urgent requirement for RF Design Engineer 3 …for 6 months contract Location : calgarySend your resumes to [email protected] Using your knowledge of wireless communications and your experience with radio frequency propagation, systems design and traffic engineering, you will participate in the planning, design and optimization of Clients RF network. Specific RF Engineering requirements for indoor network design: ・Good general RF knowledge with emphases on CDMA2000 and WCDMA standards・5 years of experience in indoor RF Design and Optimization of Distributed Antenna Systems (DASs): passive, active, hybrid as well as multi-operator systems - this should include strong experience with site acquisition policies. Analyze existing indoor coverage, from macro network, using industry standard tools in order to identify the needed coverage enhancements. Deliver quality indoor RF design by selecting optimum solution considering technology, building layout and affect to macro network. Calculate link budget and uplink noise. Produce quality project and technical documents.・5 years of experience with RF Vu (iBWave) in-building planning tool and/or First level of certification with iBWave・2 years UTRAN design experience. Understand the specific technologies worked on (iDEN, CDMA, EvDO, UTRAN, etc.) and the impact on the design. ・Working proficiency with Spectrum Analyzer and other industry standard tools ・Good understanding of propagation loss, link budget, and uplink noise calculation General skills:・Proficient with Mapinfo・Great English written and spoken communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a team.・Strong leadership, team and project management skills and experience with a variety of technical projects and programs. Ability to drive engineering projects autonomously.・Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in telecom or equivalent degree
