我们一家三口08年3月登陆加拿大,老婆打工约$8000,本人上学,今年第一次报税,用UFILE软件,结果退税显示没有联邦的WITB,原因可能是我们08年没全年在加拿大:You are 19 years of age or older on December 31, 2008; andYou are a resident of Canada for income tax purposes throughout 2008.但是在政府网站,但政府网站http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/bnfts/wtb/fq_qlfyng-eng.html写明了你有配偶或小孩,还是有资格领取,不知道我的理解对不对?文字如下,供大家参考:2. Are you eligible for the WITB?You are eligible for the WITB in 2008 if: You are 19 years of age or older on December 31, 2008; andYou are a resident of Canada for income tax purposes throughout 2008.ExceptionIf you are under 19 years of age, you may still be eligible for the WITB, if you have a spouse or common-law partner or an eligible dependant on December 31, 2008. You are not eligible for the WITB in 2008 if: You do not have an eligible dependant and are enrolled as a full-time student at a designated educational institution for more than 13 weeks in 2008;You are confined to a prison or similar institution for a period of 90 days or more in 2008; orYou do not have to pay tax in Canada because you are an officer or servant of another country, such as a diplomat, or a family member or employee of such person.ExampleJennie is 23 years old and has a 3-year-old daughter. She attended university full-time in 2008.
