回复: 今天天气晴朗,去了Cypress Provincial Park的Black Mountain Loop TrailCypress Provincial Park / Vancouver Coast & Mountains Cypress Provincial Park / Vancouver Coast & Mountains Cypress Provincial Park - The park is 3,012 hectares in size and is located within a stones throw of the city of Vancouver. On a clear day the look off on the road into the park provides a spectacular view of the city. Access: The park is located just northeast of Vancouver on the road to Whistler on Highway 99. Outside of rush hour you can reach the park in 15 minutes from Vancouver. Take Highway 1 to 99 along the upper levels in North Vancouver and follow the signs to the park. Camping Front Country: There is no front country camping in the park. Camping Backcountry: Primitive camping is permitted at non-designated sites beyond the ski center at the higher elevations in the park. Leave no trace is the expected approach. You can also camp at non-designated sites along the Howe Sound Crest Trail. Note: Fires are not permitted, you must carry a stove for cooking

The trail has an elevation change of 440 meters and should take about 2 1/2 hours to complete. Cypress Provincial Park, North Vancouver, Vancouver Coast and Mountains Black Mountain Loop Trail - 2.5km This trail takes you through sub-alpine meadows and around the edges of several mountain lakes. It is situated beside Black Mountain Plateau. This trail has a100 meter elevation change and should take about 1 3/4 hours to complete.Cypress Provincial Park, North Vancouver, Vancouver Coast and Mountains Lodge Trails - This is actually a network of trails of varying lengths and difficulties linking to other trails from Hollyburn Lodge at First Lake. Cypress Provincial Park, North Vancouver, Vancouver Coast and Mountains Yew Lake Trail - 1.5km, Easy This is a self-guided interpretive trail. It's an easy loop that goes through the forest, meadows and around small lakes, then returns to the base of the Black Chair lift. The trail should take about 45 min to complete. The area is well know for it's hawk migration. Hi-View and Quarry Lookouts - Great Hawk viewing in September. Located along the parks road.Yew Lake Wetlands - Woodpeckers, Swifts, Warblers and Sandpipers are amongst the prevalent species. Wheel chair access.Hollyburn Old-growth Forest - Follow along the Baden Powell Trail to observe Grouse, Sapsuckers and the Chestnut-backed Chickadee.Black and Stachan Mountains - Another good Hawk vantage point in the fall is the Yew Lake lookout.Baden-Powell Trail - Viewing of Hermit Thrush, Barred Owl and Red Crossbill. A birding checklist pamphlet is available from the park. The parks mammals include Pikas, Flying Squirrel Bear and Deer.
