加拿大华人论坛 加拿大生活信息有人知道canadian language benchmark分级的详细说明吗

最近看了一个college的英语入学要求为benchmark 8，我不知道这是什么意思？谁能告诉我benchmark一共有几级？大概相当于成人高中的多少级？相当于雅思或托福的多少分？什么机构可以评估benchmark的级别并且可以得到college承认的？ 多谢！！！

有人说canadian bench mark 最高为8级，有人说12级，到底是多少级？和我们平时说得ESL还有成人高中12级有什么不同？Vancouver到哪里可以测试？

nancymlp 说:意思就是去ESL评估一下就可以了，是吗？点击展开...如果你还没有评估过，可以去免费评估。地址在208 -2525 commercial Dr Vancouver 的二楼。电话604-275-2581把我自己当初的评估翻了出来，看了一下，封页上写着canadian language benchmarks assessment里面的描述是对listening/speaking ，reading和writing的评估，最高要求都是8级。

不会最高是8级吧！我考试的时候两个6分，两个7分，可是我觉得自己还是听不懂、不会说、看个半懂！

Discourse is fluent.Grammar and pronunciation errors rarely impede communication.Uses an expanded inventoryof concrete and idiomatic language. Reading descriptors:able to read an authentic text of mostly factual.concrete nature with some abstract ideas within a familiar.predictable.mostly practical and relevant context of daily social. educational and work-related life-experience. Writing descriptors:demonstrates adequate competence on writing tasks which are more complex and demanding .joins paragraphs into coherent tasks,uses complex structures,and supports main ideas,Has satisfactory control over complex structures,spelling and mechanics. 嘿嘿，对照一下，看看有没有达到。
