We showed that 95% of South Surrey residents did not want this Casino and Mayor Watts listened tonight. Please consider emailing or writing the Mayor to thank her personally. The Mayor and Council had to put up with a lot of emails thanks to people like you and me. I am sure that she would not object to one more email saying thanks and saying how much this means to you. Thanks again for supporting this effort! Residents of South Surrey all win!

回复: 南素里casino update-----We won！据Peace Arch News报道，1月14日的公众听证会有192人登记发言，晚7:00开始到次日凌晨1：30还有120人没有发言，会议宣布延期至星期5（就是昨晚）。据报道前市长Bob Bose从1978年至2011年一直担任市议员，他说他从未看到过哪个听证会象这次那样长。可见，南素里居民对这个项目的关注程度。
