Chinese medicine is now regulated in Ontario, and that has thousands of acupuncturists and other practitioners upset.Health Minister George Smitherman admits there are divisions over the legislation, but says there is no reason to stop others from performing acupuncture. Critics also say practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine will no longer be able to prescribe and dispense herbal formulas and compounds. (ZT)
