The selected candidate is needed to assist with extension of the project scope and approach of deadlines with a multinational client. The Projects will involve data extraction, transformation, and interfacing with legacy systems at the client site.Requirements- 10-12 yrs using MS SQL Server ? versions will span from 4.2, 6.0, 7.0 to 2000, and 2005 - Experience with providing transactional, end-to-end solutions - Experience with a variety of data model strategies (agile, platform dependent or specific, semantic etc.) - Experience with database design (ERD, normalization) - Experience with performance tuning and optimization involving queries, (optimization/design efficiencies "built in"). - Insurance/investment experience preferred - Ability to work independently (and the discipline to work remotely) - Excellent communication skills and business savvy required.
