Are you interested in a career as a Water and Wastewater Treatment Operator? Water and Wastewater Operators play a vital role in safeguarding public health and the environment. BCIT is excited to announce the release of a new credential, the Associate Certificate in Fundamentals of Water and Wastewater Operations, which was developed in collaboration with the Environmental Operators Certification Program, Metro Vancouver and local municipalities. This program is uniquely designed to provide the essential knowledge and skills for entry level positions as Water and Wastewater Treatment Operators. The competencies gained in this program will serve as a foundation for passing the theoretical component for the EOCP Level I certification examinations for all four facility/system types. These include Water Distribution, Water Treatment, Wastewater Collection, and Wastewater Treatment. Please visit the program website for details. Interested in Applying?
