很久前发的开发信,客户感兴趣,回复如下:
Hi, Lisa ,
We’re interested to know how this works with apple devices like iPad and iPhone.  Can you please provide us with a formal quotation and 2 samples for testing?  Our UPS account number is **** and our FedEx account is ****  Please use either one for shipping.  


因为我们公司不能免费寄样, 我回复说可以用于ipad, 收到你的样品费之后,马上给你寄出。

客人回:Lisa,
I’m paying the shipping cost which is higher than the sample cost, so it seems only fair if you cover the sample cost.  I only need one sample ZW-5100BT for evaluation.

我回复:How are you, friend. We regret being unable to meet your wishes, for every customers should pay the sample fee and shipping cost, which is our company's rule, so hope you can understand.

Beacuse the keyboard has battery, it cann't be sended by UPS and FedEx, so we will use DHL to send.

Enclosed is the PI (L110816020), please check and pay the fees, after we received your payments, the sample will be sended out as soon as possible.
PS: please kindly undertand and inform your finacial colleaugue pay the Intermediary bank fees and the local bank fees on your side.

客人回复Then please cancel my request.  I'm not interested in working with a company that chooses to be inflexible.  I'm not paying the shipping cost, sample cost and wire transfer cost so you can have a chance to sell to us.[/color

Please do not angry, ok, we will return the smple fee in the first order, sorry that i forgot to tell you.

If you still do not want to have a try on this novel product, then we would have no ways to deal with you further. So how about giving both of us a chance to lay the foundation for the near future business. We believe that this new model would be inject vitality to your market.

客人回:No thank you.  I am not angry.  I believe business partnerships should be fair.  If in order to see if our companies have a chance to do business my company must bear all the cost and your company can not even provide one single sample at no charge that is not reasonable.  Your company policies are tell me that you have a short sighted way of doing business.  In my experience that means that there will be problems in the future.

我回复:We are not short sighted, we Zoweetek Electronic Limited is the main mini wireless & bluetooth keyboard; SIM/Smart /IR Card Reader; USB Hub manufacturer in China, since 2002, our major clients are ************ etc. All of them payed the sample fee. I told you we will return the sample fee in the first order, so that very fair to us.

You can rely on us as we provide you quite satisfactory service and products with best quality at competitive price in the world.

Any replies by return will be much appreciated. It will be our big pleasure if we have opportunities to be on severice of you in near future

这个问题是所有人都头疼的问题,还要具体到每个客户。

如果客人口气很硬,你们样品又不贵的话,可以跟他说点好话,样品免费寄出去,如果需要开模打样,就另当别论了。

但从你回复的邮件看,你的口气太硬了,而且跟客人唱反调,这样大家肯定都不肯服输了。要顺着他的话说,站在他的立场上说话,然后在稍微抱怨下你们的难处。

当然也有些难伺候的谈不拢的,那就算了吧

我还遇到过一个客户呢, 他不肯出样板费, 连速递费都不出, 我一听就不理他了, 跟骗子一样

如果快递费比样品费便宜,客户是欧美国家的,确实是潜在买家。如果是尼日利亚的,还得防着他样品收到了不付快递费,到时是双亏。免费寄样不是不能考虑,让客人自己通知快递公司取件。

确实没处理好,英文好坏不论,中国式英语嘛可以理解。。但是你写信的时候是不是带着气???建议以后自己生气的时候先强制自己平静下,考虑清楚再回复。。凡事先认为自己是错的找找原因再回头看嘛。。。。
至于样品费要不要承担,自己去找客户信息分析。
