正在开发一个新法国客户,客户要求做LC,而且是LC 90days。两封邮件里,他都提到了LC这个付款方式,说他对国内供应商都是这个付款方式。We are paying by L/C at 90 days all our china suppliers. Please confirm. We are buying FOB terms.但作为SOHO,现在还不打算做LC,而且,我又要怎么去调查公司的信誉这些呢?我要怎么谈这个付款方式呢?

可以通过以下几点去和客户谈:国内的同行都是采用的30%前T/T的方式,90天太长,货款太多,公司无法运转,楼下的接着补充哈

如果客户坚持这样的付款方式,那也只能作罢了;
这样的付款方式,要么公司有些实力,要么就是骗子; SOHO还是少去担惊受怕了

Anyway , we have the main problem of the deposit you are asking. We are always working by L/C. Our guaranty is “ Banque de France” which few company in France are having. Also we have SVAC guaranties which is also something/ Please asked to your bank to check.
I am sorry but first step will be to solved the payment terms as I know that all company must fill this point firstly to do biz with us. I perfectly know that no one will enter in our company without this!
So sorry we can t go ahead without this .. So better to talk now.

L/C 90天工厂会答应吗,我们这行工厂都是要收了全款才给货。

并不是只有一行收了全款才给发货,目前风险越来越大,差不多所有供应商都要求付全款发货,除非你跟供应商合作多年,并且你带给他们的利益很厚,才会有余地。

法国公司都不是一般的傻逼,Banque De France 也不是啥牛的不得了的国家银行。这种说大话使小钱的公司不做也罢

Then I am sorry to say but if not L/C which is the best way to deal at the beginning as money is taken from us since L/C is opened, I am sorry, we can t see future as my account dept will never accept and especially the first time to pay in adavance and with T/T. We are using T/T with our old customers in case of their incistance, for your kind information.
So at this stage I prefer not to open with your company as I know we will have trouble and finally won t do anything due to payment conditions. So better not to lose time for both of us.
