The examination of the module was finished by the supplier.The relay was tested electrically and the failure could be reproduced, namely the normally open (NO) contact did not operate.
An X-ray investigation confirmed the findings and showed that the NO-contact did not close.
Also the armature was loose and did not move the actuator.
After opening the relays broken actuator fixtures were found and the armature was not situated in these fixtures anymore.
Thus a proper operation of the relay was hindered. Such a failure is most probably caused by the implication of a massive shock on the relay.
We kindly asked the customer to check his process and/or application accordingly.
