一波兰客户,是经销商,展会认识的。最近问我们要了样品,同时提出了这样的一个要求:
In the meantime I am also asking you to send me 4-5 references (contact details to the companies: emails, telephone numbers), companies you cooperate with. They must be from Europe or America.. not from your country.
I will check how good is your cooperation with that companies.
In case of sending samples, we will be thinking about the order – if they will be good enough for the customer. That is why, I have to check your references.
我当时回复说我们要保护现在客户的隐私,我先跟他们确认一下是否同意,他又回复说:
I need your references.
We have it in our ISO procedures. It is very popular method for verification.
If I do not receive your references, I can not buy anything from you. That policy is very strict. All companies, new, and the old ones gave us such references. We used them only to check, how good is your cooperation with them.
I hope you will send them to me, than I will send you our address in order to ship the samples and start working together.
大家有遇到过吗?我也做过几个欧洲客户,没有说要问我们要合作客户联系方式的,这真的是ISO的采购流程吗??

如果确定这个客户是正儿八经的经销商,告诉他几个公司名字也无妨.你可以挑几个有网站的公司发给他,做参考.

告诉他们没事的,很多客户问这个的目的主要是看你们都给哪些客户供过货,从侧面来观察一下你们公司的生产,管理,质量方面的管控效率。
从这个上面来说,你的这个客户应该还是比较靠谱的。
