我6月底回国，8月31号回来。驾照8月25号过期。我回来再renew 是不是就作废了？六月二十几号renew会不会太早，人家不受理？

If your licence has been invalid for over three years but not more than 10 years, you have to reapply under Graduated Licensing at a DriveTest Centre the mandatory waiting periods are waived. If your licence has been invalid for over ten years, you have to reapply under graduated licensing at a DriveTest Centre and serve all the mandatory waiting periods.
