CAREER OPPORTUNITY Position: Merchandising Clerk (2 Positions)Reports To: Director of PurchasingLocation: Calgary, ABClosing Date: August 11, 2006Posting #: CO-064 **************************************************************************************************** RESPONSIBILITIESAccountable to ensure accurate and timely entry of data for P.O. issuance. Responsible to ensure timely delivery of item tickets to vendor. Responsible to confirm P.O’s received by vendors. Accountable to enter accurate data input for all new product listings. Support the purchasing team as required by Director. Performs entry of all new product listings for product style creations, UPC. Linking, and benefits and features attributes. Creates P.O.’s in system. Forwards P.O. to Merchandise Planner for approval. Requests item tickets from warehouse for suppliers. Forwards approved P.O. to vendor. Produce weekly ad hoc merchandising reports for purchasing team as directed by director. Produce and distribute, in a timely fashion, vendor sell thru reports. Provide vacation relief for Purchasing Analyst. QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma required. Post secondary education in business administration would be considered an asset Strong computer skills with a proficiency in excel. Attention to detail is required. Enjoys working in a team environment Experience in data entry preferred.
