Photos from Writing-On-Stone Provincial Park (TianJin Folks)Located at the border of Ca/States. Not as famous as Waterton Park. Worthwhile to take a trip there。About 5hour driving there. It was funny our car got lost several times by being dropped from our tour car line on highway. When we asked the local residents for directions, we got to reallized we did not know where to go at all (I mean the name of the park). I was entrusted with the job to ask for direction by my car poolers, my question usually was as follows,Excuse me, do you know how we can get to a park at the border of the States other than Waterton? Yes I do know there is a park there, but I don't know the name, either. You should go............... Is it funny?

回复: Photos from Writing-On-Stone Provincial ParkDue to glaciation this different landscape formed in Ice Age, then bank of the Milk River rose and suffered from friction given by the strong wind (maybe with sands), then fell down to form today's special landscape.

回复: Photos from Writing-On-Stone Provincial Parkone of the spots in hoodoos trail, called Spirital Writing which was the most interesting one to me. Most of my teamers missed this part as the writing or engrave is too tiny and indistinct to be recgonized. I missed them when I went ahead along the trail, with the help of two foreigners I really saw them on my returning way, kind of disappointed as they are small and unclear, easy to be ignored. Anyway they are some traces left by Hoodoos to tell once Hoodoos took here as hometown. When the hoodoos felt fearful or hopeless they curved things like this to get spirital backup. There are two bisons (like buffalo), one sword or knife and two bear paws. Take a view carefully with patience to pick them up.

The view on the way returning in duskThe view on the ways going and returning back made up another highlight of the whole journey. Gorgeous praire looks like green and yellow carpet, with yellow haystack rolls spotted in, making up a typical praire dusk view of ALBERTA.
