（加西網綜合）聯邦政府最新宣布，自1月7號起乘飛機入境加拿大的乘客必須提供72小時內的新冠檢測陰性結果證明。如果提供虛假COVID-19檢測結果 ，罰款$ 5,000。
加拿大運輸部在一份聲明中表示，所有乘客在登上飛往加拿大的航班之前，必須向航空公司出示COVID-19實驗室檢測結果為陰性的證明。

政府表示，這些測試“必須使用COVID-19分子測試進行，例如聚合酶鏈反應（PCR）或環介導的等溫擴增（LAMP）測試。” “測試必須在前往加拿大之前的72小時內進行。”
政府不接受其他類型的測試，例如抗原測試。
不論國籍，所有來加拿大的旅客都必須在登機時隨身攜帶新冠檢測陰性證明；否則航空公司會拒絕登機。
加拿大政府也忠告加拿大人，擬出境旅行要三思，如果提供不了陰性結果的證明，可能會造成滯留海外的嚴重後果。

特別是加拿大人一些熱門旅行地，譬如牙買拉，進行新冠檢測有諸多的麻煩，可能導致你不能如期返回加拿大。
