（加西網綜合）昨天晚上，蘭裡一棟在建的公寓綜合大樓發生大火，造成附近地區電力中斷，100人需要緊急撤離。
昨天周一晚上約9:30，蘭裡第80大街和第208街附近一棟在建的多層公寓大樓發生大火，全部被燒毀。

從公寓樓附近撤離的居民Meisam Khaleghpanah表示“聽到了巨大的爆炸聲”，還聽到一些人在大叫：起火了。”
當消防人員到達現場時，其中兩座塔樓已經起火，火勢迅速蔓延。

蘭利消防局表示，火勢破壞非常嚴重，至少有3棟公寓樓和數棟聯排別墅被大火吞沒。

由於建築距離非常近，有些建築還相互連接，火勢難以控制，消防人員還必須穿過相鄰公寓的牆壁才能進入火場，以阻止火勢蔓延。
消防人員面臨的最大挑戰之一就是在兩座建築之間有一個1,000磅的丙烷儲罐，還必須招來挖掘機。
幸運的是，大多數聯排別墅沒有受影響，也沒有居民或急救人員沒有受傷。

大火造成變壓器炸毀，也導致大規模停電，該地區近4,000個BC Hydro公司的客戶失去電力供應。直到今天星期二早上，大部分才恢復電力供應。
大火導致威洛比小學（Willoughby Elementary School）今天關閉。
預計消防人員需要持續幾天在現場撲滅火場熱點。
消防人員表示這是迄今最嚴重的火災之一。
目前，起火的原因仍在調查中。
