（综合）虽然今天大温今天喜迎“救命雨”，也给大家带来扑灭山火的希望。
不过，这场救命雨还是有点晚了。
昨天周四晚上一场山火席卷了蒙特湖村（Monte Lake），房屋和企业已经在狂野的山火中消失。
昨天晚上12点过后，山火已经威胁到内陆小镇基隆那。

随着白石湖野火逼近，汤普森-尼古拉地区 (TNRD) 早于 8 月 5 日向一些小镇发布疏散令。

周六早上，白石湖以西的山火地区也下了一些雨，给大火中工作的消防员提供了一些短暂的缓解。
但是，尽管有少量降雨，但高达 40 公里/小时的强风仍把大火往东推到了奥肯那根湖西岸 100-250 米的范围内。

狂风在大火的东截至 昨天8 月 7 日，大火已经失控，山火面积达到55,000 公顷 。南部部分地区造成了5级火势，并迅速蔓延。预计这些阵风一直持续到晚上。
