美国最高法院有意推翻过往保障堕胎权的相关裁定，史无前例被媒体披露引起轩然大波。
美国首席大法官罗勃兹（John Roberts）周二（5月3日）下令彻查，强调草案写于今年2月，并非最终结果，不能作为“任何成员对该案问题的最终立场”。
政治新闻网站Politico引述一项外泄的初步意见草案报导说，美国最高法院正准备推翻1973年保障堕胎权的裁定。
短短数小时后，维权人士已聚集在最高法院外的阶梯抗议，党工也忙着投递信件，寻求将这个潜在裁决定位为今年11月如何投票的选择。
与此同时，美国总统拜登也对此表示担忧，并呼吁选民在中期选举中投票给支持堕胎的议员。
