九爱加拿大網報道：溫哥華警方目前正在尋找一名肇事逃逸後的司機。
警方稱昨晚11 點 30 分左右，一名24歲男子在與朋友穿過 West 4th Avenue 和 Arbutus Street 時被車輛撞倒，當場死亡。
警方稱，一輛新型灰色轎車似乎正在高速行駛，並且“未能停車”。警方稱，這輛車前端有損壞。
車禍發生前，這輛車正向東行駛。警方稱受害者被車輛推進了很遠的距離。

警方呼吁車禍的目擊者或者看到這輛車的人，撥打 604-717-3012 聯系溫哥華警方。

警方目前已找到一輛與可疑車輛描述相匹配的車輛，並且正在努力確定該車是否涉及車禍。
之後事發路段封路數小時以便警方調查，目前道路已經解封。
