加州南部杉磯縣Castaic地區周三下午附近爆發叢林大火，截至目前，大火面積已超過5208英畝。
航拍畫面顯示，5號高速公路南向車道一側大火熊熊燃燒，山丘上濃煙滾滾，消防直升機不斷延火線投擲阻燃劑。
今年最強的一股熱浪於近日襲擊南加，南加地區氣溫飆升，導致位於洛杉磯縣的Castaic爆發嚴重山火。

KTLA甚至公布了航班上乘客拍下的山火圖片，令人震撼。
大火的煙霧從卡斯泰克湖以西升起，然後向四面八方擴散，遠處是太平洋、聖克魯斯島和聖羅莎島。
酷暑讓近400名消防員付出了慘重的代價，他們不得不在超過100華氏度的高溫下穿著沉重的裝備、攜帶滅火設備作業。
其中8名消防員因熱傷接受治療，6人被送往當地醫院，但都有望康復。

這場山火爆發於8月31日中午，地點位於Lake Hughes路的5號高速公路附近。

由於當地氣溫高達三位數，且地面上有數千英畝的幹燥灌木叢，火勢得到“助攻”蔓延迅速。
