九爱加拿大网报道：BC省野火服务处表示，昨天出现在Hope地区一号高速公路附近的Flood Falls Trail 地区的山火在一夜之间已经扩到了30公顷。
BC 野火服务处信息官 Gordon Robinson 周五早上表示：“我们已经派遣22名工作人员以及5架直升机，与Hope镇的消防部门密切合作”。
据称火灾发生在极其陡峭的地形上，地面大火蔓延到树木中。

BC 野火服务处称还有 40 名人员正在前往火灾现场，预计今天野火会变得更大。
Robinson称：“由于风和地形，预计周五会有更多增长，尤其是上坡”。
野火服务处已经将这处山火定位为失控。
Hope镇消防局在周四晚些时候也注意到了火灾，但由于地形原因无法接近火场。
消防队长汤姆·德索西（Tom DeSorcy）在周五早上的一条推文中表示，没有财产受到威胁。

野火服务处的官员表示他们认为火灾是人为的。
目前，山火尚未影响附近一号高速的交通。
此外，靠近美国边境，大温附近还有几处失控的山火，目前尚不清楚会有怎样的影响。
