加拿大物价费涨，人们的生活越来越拮据，而联邦自由党和保守党却天天打嘴炮。
联邦自由党政府一直坚称目前物价飞涨是全球现象，但加拿大央行都坐不住了，央行认为物价飞涨已经越来越成为加拿大的问题。
在10月6日的哈利法克斯商会（HCC）会议上，央行行长Tiff Macklem指出，有些通胀是全球性的，通胀数字飙升且居高不下这个没法控制 ，但有些越来越多反映出的是国内问题，国内商品与服务需求越来越超出经济供应能力。
然而Tiff Macklem还告诉CEO们不要提高工人工资。
Tiff Macklem称，受全球供应链影响面临劳动力短缺和物价上涨的企业，如今已扩大服务，所有这些迹象都说明经济需求出现过剩。
保守党则谴责，Pierre Poilievre指出，自由党政府和央行大搞赤字支出，不断印钞票，才是通胀罪魁祸首。
但一谈到通胀，自由党就说，通胀是疫情和地区冲突双重影响下的“全球问题”。
