九爱加拿大网报道：大温交通警方不久前表示，正在铁道镇天车站现场处理正在进行的事件，事件导致包括铁道镇天车站在内的多个天车站关闭。

交通警方没有公布事情的详情，仅表示事件对公共安全没有威胁。
交通警方称Metrotown 和 Royal Oak 天车站已关闭。 Central Blvd 禁止车辆通行。警方呼吁民众避开该区域。
TransLink 表示，目前受影响的车站是 Edmonds、Joyce-Collingwood、Metrotown、Patterson 和 Royal Oak。
由于多个车站关闭，Edmonds 和 Joyce-Collingwood 站之间的天车世博线正在经历延误。

Translink表示：“世博线西行乘客需在Edmonds站换乘巴士，世博线东行乘客需在Joyce站换乘巴士继续行程。千禧线和加拿大线不受影响”。
Translink表示天车站关闭是因为有警察事件正在进行。
大温交通警方称他们不确定天车站关闭会持续多久。
本拿比皇家骑警则表示已经部署了多个单位来协助交通警察。

在晚上11点半左右，交通警方表示已经逮捕一人，天车服务将很快恢复。
