九爱加拿大網報道：俗話說禍不單行，加拿大今天發生兩場大爆炸，發生在相鄰的兩個省。
安省聖凱瑟琳斯 (St. Catharines) 的一家企業今天早晨發生火災和爆炸，而且爆炸持續很長時間，震驚了附近的民眾。
早上 6 點 35左右，位於20 Keefer Road的危險材料公司 Ssonix Products 發生火災和爆炸，目前尚不清楚火災發生的原因。
St. Catharines 消防隊長 Dave Upper表示，在消防員對火災做出反應時，現場仍持續發生爆炸。
他表示：“當他們在現場時，爆炸在設施內持續了大約 45 分鍾”。
St. Catharines 消防局、尼亞加拉緊急醫療服務、尼亞加拉西部消防局等多個單位趕赴現場，進行救援。

現場火光沖天，濃煙滾滾，警方呼吁附近民眾留在室內，遠離煙霧。
有目擊者表示爆炸聲很大，她最初以為有大樹倒在了她家房子上。

作為預防措施，附近的一些住宅和企業已被疏散。

當地消防部門呼吁受影響區域的民眾就地避難，關閉門窗和爐子，避免煙霧進入。

消防人員仍在進行防御性滅火，可能會整天留在現場。

當地居民卡羅爾.格林（Carol Green）表示，他們當時正在遛狗，結果聽到一聲巨響，空中出現巨大的橙色光芒，然後不斷發生爆炸。
她表示自己家距離爆炸地點約四公裡，當時整個房子都在震動。
