一个老房东说不用， 但是刷了后好租一些。 但是听说安省规定必须得刷。 到底应该怎么办？能不刷我就不刷， 房子去年房客搬进去前刚刷的。另外想问问， 好油漆和差油漆有什么区别。 多谢！

Or, renovate it after the tenant has lived there a couple of years?No, the landlord is not required by law to ‘update’ a rental unit with renovations like carpeting and painting when a tenant moves in, or after a tenant has lived there for a certain number of years. The landlord is, however, responsible for providing and maintaining a residential complex and the rental units in it in “a good state of repair and fit for habitation”. The landlord must also comply with any health, safety, housing and maintenance standards that apply to their property. So, for example, if the carpeting is unsafe because it is badly ripped and might cause someone to fall, the landlord may have to replace or repair it, no matter how old or new it is.

回复: 新房客搬进去之前必须粉刷吗？好的油漆和坏的油漆差别大了，好油漆刷一遍两遍就行，遮盖力很好，坏油漆得刷很多遍，而且很费油漆，稍微碰一下油漆就掉了。去小店 paint store 买不要去大店 home hardware或轮胎店买。

回复: 新房客搬进去之前必须粉刷吗？多谢！有什么好的油漆牌子可以推荐下？点击展开...不要去大店 home hardware或轮胎店买油漆，我之前在那里买的油漆刷墙三四遍，很容易脱落。然后去paint store的小店买的，名字忘记了，只要选择你合适的价位，牌子很多。第一层要刷primer，然后刷你喜欢的颜色油漆，好油漆刷一遍就够。
